Tony Mangurian was born in Berkley Ca and raised on Bleecker Street in New York's Greenwich Village. He attended Music and Art High School (the inspiration of the movie Fame) and the New England Conservatory. Upon returning to New York City, at the urging of Phillip Glass after hearing some of his early composition recordings, he studied composition at Mannes School of Music. That led to his involvement on Bob Dylan's Grammy-award winning album "Time Out of Mind" as well as Willie Nelson's "Teatro" and Mr. Lanois' own album "Shine" and "Here is What is".
In 1997, Tony landed the Cover Girl account writing the jingle for "Easy Breezy Beautiful Covergirl" and has composed and produced many of the brand's advertising music to date.
